What’s new on your booking site

Every update to the site your clients book through, newest first. There is nothing to install: your site has each change the day it goes out. For the app, see the release notes.

Payment step now retries after a dropped connection

Fixes

  • When a client's connection drops on the card or deposit step, the step now retries once by itself and shows a Try again button if it still fails, so they are no longer stuck on an error with no way forward. This matters most for booking inside your own website, including pages opened from an in-app browser. The message now says the problem is the connection rather than blaming the payment provider.

Forms from the manage page and screens that start at the top

Booking Site

  • Clients can reach their forms from the page where they manage their visit.

Fixes

  • Each booking screen now opens at the top instead of partway down the page, and Back returns clients to where they were on the screen they left.

A clearer appointment summary and steadier date screen

Booking Site

  • The appointment summary lists services like a receipt, with the name on the left and the price on the right, so a long name no longer leaves its price on a line of its own. A rule separates the services from the artist, time and duration, and your policies sit under a Good to know label as separate points in brighter text.
  • On the date screen, your booking rules note now has an info icon and sits above the Available times heading.
  • On a phone, the times sit closer under the calendar.

Fixes

  • Back from a category's treatments now returns to the category picker instead of skipping it.
  • The calendar's month arrows are now centered, easier to read and a little larger to tap.
  • The times area keeps its height when a day has no times, so the page no longer shrinks and grows as clients switch days.
  • While a new day's times load, the heading no longer names the newly picked day over the previous day's times, and an empty day no longer flashes a loading line.

Booking skips the artist step when only one artist fits

Booking Site

  • When only one artist offers every service a client has picked, your booking site books that artist and goes straight to choosing a date. The Artist step is dropped from the progress steps too.
  • If your salon has just one bookable artist, clients never see the Artist step at all.

Search results and share cards for your booking site

Booking Site

  • Your booking site now tells Google your address, opening hours, services and prices, so your salon can show up properly in search.
  • Each page of your booking site lists itself for search engines, and pages with nothing on them are left out.

Booking from inside your own website

Booking Site

  • Embedded in your own website, your booking site now fits the frame on a phone, and the page scrolls to any message a client needs to see.

A limit on how far ahead clients book

Booking Site

  • Set how many days ahead clients can book online, and your booking site's calendar stops at that day.

A booking that survives a refresh

Booking Site

  • A client who refreshes the page or taps Back keeps the booking they started, and Back steps through the booking one screen at a time.
  • Phone numbers format themselves as a client types them.
